Transmission Mechanic

Based in Alzenau, near Frankfurt in Germany, Hyundai Motorsport GmbH is responsible for Hyundai’s global motorsport activities and primarily for its World Rally Championship program. We are currently looking for a Transmission Mechanic to join our team.

 

Main tasks

• Build up rally and endurance transmission / differential for rally, race and test cars. 
• Built on high quality to the latest technical standards given by engineering
• Take responsibility for preparation, set ups and modification of race and test car transmission / differential whilst in the factory and on events (test and rally)

Qualifications

• Car mechanic / motorsport technician with experience in motorsport (Endurance & Rally), especially with 4 wheel drive transmission, rear differential, set up of crown wheel and pinion
• Work on the highest standards and to tight deadlines
• The role requires team work flexibility, trust worth in all aspects of the car assembly
• Team player with technical skills who demonstrates responsibility, reliability and an independent working style
• Attached to details, guarantee of high quality of preparation to latest technical standards
• Maintaining and overseeing transmission components, recording all lifting record
• Proficiency English is mandatory
• A flexible approach to working hours and extensive as well as the ability to perform under pressure
